I've had a Precision II since the summer of 97 I think, It's never had the slightest hardware problem. Software glitches (very few) were always solved with excellent support from Imacon. Works like a charm. I agree that reflective scanning on these things is a bit awkward (though the quality is good). With good flatbed scanners priced so low I'd opt for a separate scanner to handle the scanning of prints. Purchasing an Imacon scanner was one of the better business decisions I've made. Paid for itself many times over very quickly.
