Dear Glyn.

With such hot competition in the digital equipment sales arena, the message that the Nikon guys appear to be sending is likely to do them very considerable damage over the long term.

The following story is worth recounting. I remember the story told to me by a local client we supply with digital images. He looked over a magnificent property set in many acres of beautiful gardens he wanted to buy. After his visit the seller of the property rang up his estate agent and said please don't send me anymore time wasters. The man had turned up to view the property dressed very casually in well worn jeans and looking rather scruffy. Within an hour or so of his visit the estate agent had an offer on the table for the full 1.5 million UKP asking price! This man, a well known industrialist, is worth some thirty million UKP I gather.

BTW anymore people interested in joining the Artisan monitor buying group.....this rare opportunity closes tomorrow afternoon!

Cheers

Richard
