The best way to click Start>Run ', type msconfig then click on 'OK'. Click the 'Startup' tab, and un-tick Adobe Gamma Loader and re-start your machine.. This way if at any time you need to use it again, you only have to tick the box. You can get rid of any annoying programs that run in the background at the same time.
