What I can do to fix the yellow nozzle from firing slightly off target? Is this caused by a blockage of sorts? Should I persevere with the Widowlene cleaning method, or try something else such as using cleaning cartridges?
Try using cleaning pads - Marrutt sell them, as do office world. Use the alcohol that comes with the kit or use 10% solution of ammonia. Try to limit the number of clean cycles, too. Clean with the pads, run a couple of clean cycles and maybe a purge print - then leave for a couple of hours. Repeat the process.
Complete pain - I've had four 1160's since september and each showed problems with the yellow but eventually cleared with patience! Not easy when you have an urgent job! Three were replaced under guarantee for mechanical reasons. The fourth, my original two year old machine died as a result of too many cleaning attempts with windowlene - be careful!!
Go onto mwords site - Nij has a section devoted to this:

Good luck!!
