Check out www.ardelectronics.com. They have a 6" 
LCD portable television with - they say - monitor 
function. Not quite sure what this means, but it 
implies there is a socket for video input.

Their product code is 110-01475 and the price is �149.99 plus VAT.

 Can anyone please tell me if there is such a thing on the market as an
 'off-camera monitor'? what would be great is a small, handheld
 monitor fed via the AV out socket.
