Regarding File size for vieweing and evaluation, I don't see why should the thumbnail size matter, since what you and your client need to see is the full sized file and this is simple to accomplish. The simple workaround for this is to burn the CD, run iView to catalog those files FROM the CD, and burn this catalog ( in a second, ultra short session of a few seconds) into the same CD. As the Path is correctly defined, you will be able to see every file with full detail if you also add to the same CD the iView <<Free>> catalog Viewer aplication ( available to download in the website, and fully authorised to be distributed). This is an elegant presentation since you clients will have the chance to evaluate all the files directly from the CD, without any need for special apps installed in any machine( the Catalog viewer is available both for Macs and PC's) and full detail evaluation of files comes handy. In short, -burn you files into CD in a folder > -make catalog from files in CD> - burn a second session( a few MB and a few seconds to burn) to include in one folder both the catalog and the catalog viewer application ( you can also add an alias to the catalog, so your client just loads the CD and double clicks on the catalog alias and period)> - Submit CD to client > -Client Happyly edits from CD. It certailnly takes a few extra stepts in your worlflow and a few seconds of your time, but quality service should lead your workflow, shouldn't it? OTOH, if you don't want to sumbit all the Hi Res Files just for evaluation, the default Website Gallery lets you select a very big file size , ideal for evaluation,( file size obtained this way requires scrolling through the screen to be able to see it all) and then you just send a CD with a Webgallery , viewable in any common browser. This option is not suitable for upoad to the Internet, since files are relatively big and load very slowly, but cover both aspects of the work, you provide a viewable file, but you are not delivering a whole set of HiRes data.
