Thanks to all that responded off list to my request for info on a suitable lap top for
Windows use.
I got a great deal from Morgan computers, a Toshiba Satalite P10-804 for �899 plus
vat,which was a make that had several supporters.

Just need to flag up a quick warning on this item. Having been to the same company and web page as Mike, I ordered one of these laptops being sold as being and I copy: Toshiba as new class 1 stock 1 yr. warrantee. And guess what arrived this morning. Yes one very nice Toshiba P10-804 with a sticker underneath it saying that it was Reconditioned and only had a 90 day warrantee!
Having not been able to raise the company to get an answer as to whether this is simply a warehouse error, I just wanted to alert anyone thinking of making the same purchase.
