Title: Re: [PRODIG] Easy col management
Hello,
List lurker here.
I just have a few comments that may be of interest + a few questions to ask!
Colour mananagement Success!:
Just to let other photographers know that since buying the Gretag Macbeth Eye One Photo it has cleared up my monitor calibration hassles (the spyder more difficult software and over 3 monitors too much difference in final result). It has easy to use software pretty idiot proof and you can use for LCD as well as CRT.
2. You can make paper profiles for all your printers and papers. When your driver is updated it is easy to do a new profile.
3. The colour match between the paper and monitor is extremely good. Software/hardware also easy to use.

DIGI BACK FEEDBACK:
About to buy a digi camera medium format and we think we may buy the Imacon – it is for location work mainly and to attach to the Hasselblad H1 +/or Rollei. Needs to untethered. Final File size min 50MB (can be after interpolation)
  1. Do you have any tried digi back favourites for location work or any thing that have put you off a back.
  2. Has anyone noticed whether diff digi backs give you a different quality of image. Or do you do that all in post production.
  3. Has anyone considered buying in the states with the dollar being so good or is the import tax and lack of warranty(?) prohibitive

RGB/CMYK workshops:
I am keen to learn more about RGB to CMYK and best process – unfortunately also missed Neil B workshop
Are there anymore workshops coming up that I can attend?

Regards
Nicola Webb
