IT WAS NOT A BAD CAMERA.
It was only bad if:
1) you did not know how to drive it properly ( hence our training days) 
(Its like going from a mini to a Ferrari!)
2) if you wanted good quality in poor light above ISO200
3) if you had a lens with poor chromatic abberation

If you used it as very many do within its range it is good - very good.
No camera can be good absolutely all round.If so we would still all be 
using Box Brownies!
This chechnology is moving fast - even Canon changed their range the same 
age as the 14n but there you have to buy a new camera and not just get a 
new chip and analogue board upgrade. Many 14n owners do not want an 
upgrade as it means moving up from a loqw of 80 ISO to 160 base.
