That's possibly correct. But so what? I'm sure I could output a dull, flat
print from my 1160 and then adjust my screen till it looked the same � but
what use would that be to anyone? This closed-loop approach is fine for
someone working in isolation, but is a recipe for disaster if you're only
one part of the chain. The whole point of colour management is to maintain
the integrity of an image all the way from capture to print, not just to
match an individual's screen to their desktop printer.
