that's a bit of a long story. I have a data set that represents the outer edges of 
human colour perception. From that I calculated its volume.

OK, not that long a story - but it took a bit of work to do it!

yes actually. I'm lucky enough to have one of these great displays on my desk right 
now.

The volume I have is: 925,446

It's important to note that gamut size is not the only consideration in display 
quality. I like the Apple HD Cinema Display a lot but the EIZO ColorEdge is in a class 
by itself.
