19" Mitsubishi Diamond Plus 93SB....
....Buying something as important as a monitor sight unseen is anathema. If anyone is using these or has recommendations, I would appreciate comments or even general opinions on brand reputation both positive and negative

I have been using 19’ Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 930 SB screens for 18 months now and have no complaints apart from the dismal organisation of the set up buttons. The first one I had did break down after 6 months but they come with 3 years swap out support so that was pretty painless. They are easy to calibrate with an i1 Pro device (you can definitely adjust the rgb independently) and seem to me to be good value compared to LaCie’s version and especially compared to 21” + monitors. For my money two little uns beats one big un any day for retouching work. Be careful to get the 930 though. There is an inferior model with an almost identical name (the 93 I think) that won’t run such high resolutions/refresh rates.
