Hi Brian,
I purchased a Mitsubishi DP93SB around 3 or 4 months ago and apart from
being one of the ugliest looking monitors around I am quite pleased with it.
It came with a flyer offering a free download of a program called "NaviSet"
which helps setup the monitor for colour contrast, moire, aligning the guns,
etc etc all from within the display properties/advanced control panel with
27 different test patterns built into it. It works very well and is
definetly worth downloading as it helps setup the myriad of adjustments
possible. The monitor control buttons are a bit fiddlly and not clearly
marked but you soon get used to it. I am also pleased with the warranty
service from Mitsubishi. after about a month the monitor went "Phht" and
died. I was given a repairer only a few Km away who even offered to pick it
up! I was given a loaner whilst mine was being fixed. They couldn't find
what was wrong and gave me a new one after a week. Since then Its worked
fine. I wasn't able to compare it to other monitors as I couldn't find a
single store anywhere in Melbourne that had any high end 19" or larger up
and running. The only way I could see a monitor, of any brand in the flesh
was to actually buy one as no-one would even open their box to have a squizz
at one. The only other real contender was a Philips one which was a little
dearer. I bought the 93SB on reputation as it was the one most other
Photographers recommended. Another good one is LaCie which uses the same
tube I believe, but costs about double and is not readily available.
Hope this helps, good luck!

Frank Styevko from OZ
