Dear list, Please reply off list as this is a camera/lens tecky question.
Which lenses for a potential 1d2, I have dilemma over. Canon 24-70mm F2.8L USM really expensive ???. Canon F 28-135mm f3.5/5.6 IMAGE STABILISER USM sigma 28-70mm f2.8 EX CANON AF Tokina 28-80mm f/2.8 AT-X PRO (CANON AF). Ok basic question, as I do a lot if low light stuff, do the image stabilisation lenses work ?? Is the 70-200 is lens worth the extra ???, or should I just go for a sigma ex f2.8 or the canon non is lens. Ok so with the IS lens I am 1/2 stop down at 28 over the others and at 1 or 2 stops down at 70/80mm. So if the is lenses work people are getting good hand helds at 1/8 second according to some reviews, anyone ever tested one on a digital, or would I be better off looking for a used 28-70 f2.8 l lens. Thoughts off list please unless you feels its important enough to be on list. cheers Ian Reynolds =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
