no offense, but if you only used if for one day... and if you have little experience with no AA filter shooting on other cameras... then I can see why you make the comments you do. I'm sure the comments accurately reflect your experiences but they don't accurately portray the potential quality of images (or ease of processing) available from images produced by any of the 14MP Kodak models.

So does an AA filter. It is extremely rare for processing to be onerous and it certainly doesn't need to remove quality in the way that you describe, but this is not something that you're likely to discover in a brief trial of the camera. This is why I think Kodak erred in a big way by not offering an AA filter at least as an option for these cameras like they did with most previous models. Your comments about your experiences are not uncommon among new users of these cameras.
