Frank There's no Save button in the dialog; so, unless "the" Photoshop experts know something us "mere" Photoshop experts do not, I think you'll have a tough time saving the settings. <g> There are two things you can try to "save" your custom setting and to avoid having to hunt for stickies: enable the history log in Prefs (select the option that suits you) or record an action while you create a contact sheet that includes your prefs and run that instead of the Contact Sheet feature. However, the action will be rather limiting and may not give you as much freedom as you would like; for example, specifying image source. It's amazing how dorky the Adobe Photoshop team and/or marketing can be at times. The Contact Sheet has been getting stick since something like version 5 and they still haven't got it right - not if the comments posted by "most" photographers are anything to go by. You would think they would talk to photographers to find their needs, look at the competition and then create something superior to all expectations.
