I (badly) need to upgrade my computer and would appreciate the convenience
of the portability of a Notebook versus a Desktop.
How about a Notebook (could be hooked up to my existing CRT monitor for
graphics work)? The best value Notebook purchasable locally would be based
on an Intel Pentium M processor 715 (1.5 Ghz, 2 MB Cache, 400 MHz FSB). Very
much cheaper than one based on a Pentium 4.
I don't want to make a mistake with Photoshop, however, where the Adobe
System Requirements for CS specify "Intel Pentium III or 4 processor".
Can Photoshop (CS or 7) run on a Pentium M rather than a Pentium 4 (even if
a bit slower)? {Photoshop CS not yet purchased -- but looking ahead}.
Help appreciated.
