I shot in RAW then converted it to a 16 bit linear tiff. What I didn't understand was how the same file produced vastly different profiles each time I ran it through the plug-in which left me with little faith in the product.
I've used generic profiles(PhaseOne's and Etcetera's) along with custom profiles (ColorEyes 20/20 and Gretag P5's) in C1 and they all produced perfectly acceptable images with very little to choose between them.
I now use the Etcetera profile(HiSat) all the time. I shoot a Macbeth card at the beginning of each shoot and obtain a grey balance from that. This has worked perfectly in various lighting conditions - theaters, sports halls, outdoors etc.

What file format was the image in? And what file format did you originally shoot it in (maybe the same answer)?
