The above works fine up to a point. However, when you create the new document its name is 'Untitled -1' and I need it to have the same name as the original file that I have just come from. Obviously, I realise that I can input this information manually, but bearing in mind those 400 files, I need an 'Action' to enable me to do this - as I'm sure you'll appreciate !!.
Is there any way that anybody knows of to automate this task ?
Dear Paul,
I'm facing the same problem when it come to erase Exif data. The lone glamourous way I found to get rid of them is ExifUtil, it's Unix command managed. The fun with this soft is you are allowed to import nonsense data if you are intended to do so. I didn't test it yet.

You also be able to set preferences to do so when "import" to Graphic Convector.
Talking to a computer guru, I had been told than better to use the Unix command in EXIFUtil it should be more secure to write an AppleScript dedicated to Terminal. My guess is if you are able to do so, it should be easier to write a script to rename your PS batch processed files.
In order to remove the Exif data there is also a way using layers, is it keep the folder name?
Do anybody have an insight?
Regards.
