List: I am really confused about the need for third party RIP software for Epson printers. Is it really necessary to get the best results? What is the experience of others using third party RIPs with Epson printers? What RIP do you recommend?
With my 2200 I am getting results almost as good as my wet darkroom Ilfochrome and B&W prints. (I am about to upgrade to the Epson 4000.) Since RIP software is so expensive I wish to make an optimum decision. Any help you could give me would be very much appreciated.
