Hi List, My apologies for this very basic question, but I have spent the last 2.5 hours trying to make a simple action that will open a NEF file and save it as a jpeg (for editing purposes only ;). I have failed miserably.
I wish to apply this action to a folder of approx 300 RAW files I have recorded opening a NEF Raw file, making no adjustments (keeping Settings to 'Selected Image') and saving it as a jpeg. I then select Automate>Batch actions and select the action I have made. I tick 'Suppress File Open Options Dialogue' and 'Suppress Colour Profile'. But when I run the batch action, I still get the RAW dialogue stopping the batch action. Please can someone put me out of my misery and inform me as to what I'm doing wrong (I've read Evening, Blatner and the Adobe Manual to no avail). Thank you.
