Do you meant the actual adaptor itself? I have just thrown away the mains lead for my iBook power supply. I had noticed the power "flickering" - I saw my green plug in the iBook go on and off. I was thinking the plug into the iBook was faulty (it never goes red when charging, always stays green and is cracked open). However yesterday I saw blue flashes in the cable between the mains and the adaptor. It seems that the cable had been bent and must have broken a wire inside but not enough to allow a short.
