The Apple adapters do seem to have quite a high inrush current. I'd suggest that where possible you plug them in first and then switch on the power. For parts of the world without switched mains sockets, I'd suggest that you plug the lead into the adapter before plugging into the wall socket. I noticed quite noisy sparking when I was using my computer in the US. The wall plugs are designed to take more sparking than the small power connectors on the PSU itself (wall plugs are also easier to replace) bye for now Keith Cooper http://www.northlight-images.co.uk =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
