Yes, the word archival is a bit misleading. I suspected they were the same
inks but there was just that tiny doubt in my mind.

I have a 1290, and am thinking of getting an 1160 for B&W work - have my
sights on the 4000 but it's a case of seeing which way the wind blows
first...
 
BTW, Mwords still comes out the cheapest, at about �30 less than the
cheapest I've found - plus they've moved recently and are now just a 3
minute walk for me.
