Thank you for your feedback Shangara. The pads on the side of the cartridge
do seem to work well in holding the cartridges in place, though as per
section three of the manual, we do recommend you press the carts every now
and then to help ensure they do not work loose over time. This is the system
that is used for  every CIS until printer models like the 2100 / 950 came
into being (where the carts individually lock into place) - so it is
certainly tried-and-tested.

As an add-on for a printer not designed to accept add-ons, it is almost
inevitable that the CIS look a little 'Heath Robinson'. Nevertheless, if
your experiences match the vast majority of our customers, you will quickly
forget it is even there. Though be warned - one of our most common support
issues is to help people who have forgotten to check ink levels and let a
bottle run dry! This is typically recoverable, but easier if you don't let
it happen :)
