Thomas On the Mac in OS X, provided you are putting the profile in the ColorSync folder that you have access to, you don't have to restart Photoshop, just reopen the dialog(s) you are using to select the profile. For example, I am logged in as Admin, I have all my profiles in the Library > ColorSync > Profiles folder and I do not need to restart Photoshop if I add or move any profiles out of the folder. The external names and 'internal,' or ASCII, names can be different and it confuses a lot of people. In OS X, you can change internal names quite easily. Just double-click on a profile to bring up the ColorSync Utility, select 'desc' and change the ASCII name to whatever you like (within reason). However, you do it at your peril. Best to leave things as they are - unless, of course, the profile is called SINAR.icc! <g> Kind regards, Shangara Singh. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: :: Stills Photographer :: Photoshop CS Adobe Certified Expert :: http://www.aspect-photography.co.uk =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
