Hi all,
I left my 1290 idle for a couple of months foolishly without doing regular headcleans and found that it needed many cycles of cleans and test patterns. However the light cyan remained printing very badly no matter how many cleans I did. I talked to steve at Permajet ( I have their CIS with FS inks) and he suggested buying a new cartridge. I have fitted it and the same thing is happening. The printer is fairly old about 3 years, so I am prepared to buy a new one, but has anyone any ideas? How easy is it to buy and fit a new print head (if that is what it's called).
