It's reassuring to hear that you have been pleased with your Toshiba purchases. This machine only had the overheating problem before going into the appointed Toshiba service people Teleplan, but I cannot say I have been one bit impressed with their actions so far.

As regards to the Merc....hope your contact got a replacement. Nothing can be expected to be perfect every time, but I judge a company by how well they put right a problem when it's brought to their attention, and how much hassle they give me on the way. Here's hoping <G>
