Actually, now that the brain has engaged, I recall my sis in law insisted on
buying a Toshiba earlier this year, and she had nothing but problems. Got
replaced and sent back numerous times. Seems that an application she uses
(Luna - I think) was giving the machine an allergic reaction...
Possibly Toshibas are just not as good as Toshiba think they are?
