Are (some) people upset because they think President Bush lied to them for the
reasons we went into Iraq? If so was it because they belived what they think
he said and felt that we should go, later finding out that it was a 'lie' so
felt betrayed? Or maybe they 'knew' it was a lie at the start and therefore we
should of not gone, lie or not. Is it the 'lying' or the going that has (some)
people upset? I assume there is a mixture, and of course other 'solutions'
other then the two I just listed exist.

I'm doing my best to be a 'martian' and observe this somewhat detacted.

Here in Eugene OR. (Where I am living) there seems to a large number of people
( at least vocal, e.g. street protests, letters to the editors etc. ) that
shall we be kind and say disagree with mush of the presidents policys, and I am
trying very much to understand their thinking, but it is hard for me to follow
the lack of facts. I've asked about the 'lying' and I have not yet received a
clear answer. (Maybe Ed's recent post will provide me with that information
when I've read it or the links he has provided.) I can appreciate people
putting different weights on the facts, e.g. I believe that Oil was a reason
for going into Iraq thou I put little weight on it, Person X may say that Oil
was a primary reason for going into Iraq. I on the other hand would put much
more weight onto the UN resoluions then say the 'other' person.

A small favor, I really do not like the name calling in policts. No I am not
going to ask for others here to stop, I'm not that much of a fool ( ok I've
just called myself a name. ) If you see me doing it please point in out, I'm
trying to stop myself.
