Dave- The technology has improved in leaps and bounds. You may think that VFP is/was under-marketed by MS, but extraordinary tools like English Query (and now, Speech Server), have been constrained by similar apathy.
For me, English Query (and the genre it represents) is one of the most powerful tools in existence, and it's flying completely beneath the radar. I used that system back in the late 80's and early 90's allied to DBASE II to produce some amazing business solutions. Having just noticed the thread I can't believe that the technology has not come on leaps and bounds over the years and still seems to be fairly basic. Either that or Q&A was years ahead of its time. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
