Cool? Well, maybe. It's a poor interface in some ways. They seem to want to introduce people to Ruby and so they give them an interactive window where they can type Ruby commands. How does that make sense? I did the Help tutorial and after the second or third "lesson" it just stopped moving along to the next lesson. I did like that you could use the up and down arrow keys to recall a previous command, but that's not something a web site visitor will ever make use of (and don't use them, because that seems to mess up the tutorial and you can't get it to move on, though I've discoved that if you type "back" and do that step over again - avoiding the use of the arrow keys - you'll be able to move on). And it still uses a bunch of JavaScript for the pretty stuff. I'd prefer something less interactive because I simply don't want to have to do that much typing for an overview of the language (especially since not typing exactly what they want means you can't move on). Just my $0.02.
