Ah, now you guys are showing your age <g>.

Java was dished out as the uni had some big relationship with sun.

I did use C/C++ at uni but that was for my Electronics courses as I did
Computer System Engineering.  Much fun programming 68CH11 chips.

Urg... I predate Java. (I feel old now)

At uni we worked with...
C
Cobol (Promised myself I would starve before working in cobol)
Fortran
Pascal
Pascal-Fc (Multithreaded version for real time stuff)
APL (Strangest language ever)
ADA
OCCAM  (transputers)
68K Assembly

and used the following when doing the postgrad stuff
C++
ADA
OCCAM
68K Assembly

Anyone ever have to use 'Z' to formally prove code?
