Hi All, I'm looking for free installable software that converts .docx files to .doc files (it would be nice if it also converted other .___x files as well but it's not imperative).
I need this software to be: 1. Really and truly free--not trial ware, not shareware, but free. 2. I need it to be not online (so that it can't ever be changed from free to not-free) 3. I need it to work with Windows 2000 and later MS OSes. It seems to me that this should be a common enough problem that somebody has produced a really free simple program to do it. All I can find on a Google search though is online, trial versions, or shareware. Thanks for any help.
