Umm.... I made what I thought was an equally simple answer: set the detail band of an frx to half the page size with the one caveat that his detail would have to fit in that half page. The other comments you're attributing to me about page formatting and 3rd party software came from other sources. I guess 1=a gazillion and my original 3 sentence response was "getting carried away". Oh, and I didn't make what IMHO was a patronizing remark about wasting time vs. materials. Maybe I am getting carried away now. It's been a long day.

Feel free to have the last word. I'm done with this one.

I don't think so, Richard. We got a very simple, almost non-existent, spec.
Print something 2-up in VFP 8. I gave a very simple answer, pretend they are
labels. I don't care if they are portrait or landscape. I don't have an
answer for imagined overflow. I don't have add-on software to scale a
full-size down to half-size. I don't have report listeners. Etc. Etc. A
10-word question gets a 10-word answer.

So, no. I did not get carried away with a gazillion what-ifs.
But YMMV.
