Michael, I have not done this for quite a while but I know it is very
simple.  One thing that comes to mind is just to treat it like labels,
large labels, half-page labels.  Also, from a practicality standpoint,
it's a pain to have to cut these things in half.  Check out the Avery
line of strange print media and you will find something that facilitates
half-page printing.  In your admirable intent to avoid waste, it is wise
to remember that saving time is probably worth more than saving paper.
