FoxPro is optimized for speed. It doesn't expect the executable to get blocked for reads after it is started. Microsoft probably changed the base C calls to help there own programs. FoxPro apparently bypasses that call for the speed. Probably the same optimizations that keep FoxPro as the 32 bit application. -- Tracy Pearson PowerChurch Software Sent from my Android phone with K-9 Mail. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
