Alan:  The application that is not running is VFP9.  I have the same 
setup as they do in my office - including Windows 7 and Vista - and it 
works perfectly.  I want to do as little "experimentation" as possible 
on the customer site - if you know what I mean.

I am leaning toward the anti-virus or Windows security because the 
executable is only allowed one instance on the server.  You can run it 
from any workstation as long as it is the only instance.
