Analog cable? How quaint :-)
Up here in the woods of New Hampshire, the digital costs an extra USD $20 or $30 a month. But it's still the same crappy shows. And they look the same on my 10-year-old telly anyway, so why bother?
AFAIK digital cable is not possible to decode without the right encryption smart card thingy. Which is a shame as it's a mpeg2 stream.
Right. You get to pay extra for them to provide you with a digital PVR. Unless the quality of the content goes up quite a bit, I can't see a reason to subsidize that... -- Ted Roche Ted Roche & Associates, LLC http://www.tedroche.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
