If i'm using my laptop on the kitchen table, you can't use the microwave or 
else it screws up the wifi signal.  I'm wondering if biting the bullet and 
putting in wires isn't the best solution.

Antenna strength, most likely. I had an older Linksys router that didn't get
to all parts of my house, so I bought an 18 db antenna from radiolabs.com
and the problems went away.

I have wood lath and plaster walls and the wifi is great throughout. The
single AP is in one of the corner bedrooms and the opposite corner gets
great signal. I wonder what the diff[excessive quoting removed by server]
