Ah - bummer Matt - I would have loved to have seen that!
I can relate - in regards to my last job - but, not so much of just too
much on the screen, but, rather - screens where its about 50% filled -
but, its as though these other programs stood back 10 yards - and just
THREW the data elements and labels onto the screens. Some were SO
Horrible - it would make me Cringe. Things just weren't lined up, and
then there would be loads of space and weird layouts - just like they
didn't Care how it looked - or, worse yet - had NO Clue that it looked
so bad! So, yeah, many times - when I went into a system to work on one
thing - I would just go around and start cleaning up many screens...

Because that's the way the AppWizard structured screens? lol
Job before the last job I took over working on 'the database' as they
called it... The first time I saw the main screen I almost crapped my
pants it was such a complete incomprehensible mess... there was barely
any empty screen real estate whatsoever so an errant click was bound
to land on a data field or action button... it was truly scary but God
forbid I change it because it was what everyone was used to....
I had saved a screenshot in hopes of putting it up on a Code of Shame
at some point but not so sure I would be able to find it at this
point...
