Yeah sound correct. The license for "free" db from M$ is based on data
volume per db, not per server.  If you know how to defeat transaction logs
from growing out of control 10 gig is a LOT of space.

To get the instance name of the db SERVICE running on the machine installed
on:

Start | Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services

Go down to the SQL section:
SQL Server (someNameHere)

In your connection string you will use Servername\someNameHere as the server

www.connectionstrings.com  and find MS SQL there.
