Exactly. If we really wanted to be using large-scale speech recognition
we would be using it already. Until we can wire our heads directly into
the network the above situation is largely not going to change. We're
seeing a shift in the home and some areas of business at the moment away
from keyboards and mice towards touch interfaces but once again - touch
has been around for years, if it was such a game-changer for business
we'd all be wiping our screens clean daily with our bizarrely
overmuscled right arms.
