Hello Kevin, Thanks for the reply, the ..."paying gigs..." is what I was hoping for. Currently fulltime VFP, but that will end soon and need to find another avenue. Something that I can add to the resume or can use to find contract work.

I've even had a couple of paying gigs to build applications with Xojo. (Real Studio at the time.) My largest application however is the application that I've developed to run my business. It's a Xojo+PostgreSQL solution that does contact management, client management, project management, invoicing, AR and reporting. Is Xojo as 'refined' as Foxpro. No. However, for being a product with ambitious goals of being cross platform plus web (soon iOS) in one singular complete package, it's pretty damned good. Of course Foxpro is Windows only, and unsupported (in a practical way) except community support. Xojo is a supported product, actively in development by a small(ish) company where its developers come from the USA, Canada and Europe. I say take it for a spin (for free) and see if it fits your needs and requirements. -Kevin On 07/26/2013 04:49 PM, Anthony Jennings wrote: > Have any one here built an application(s) with xojo? > Downloaded the free book, looks like it has potential. > But like all projects, you don't know what you have till you try a > live project > [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/B6AD520020ACAE4188914E5A0DCE8AC4F1182E@MBX021-W3-CA-4.exch021.domain.local ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
