Hello Anthony,

Yes, I've built applications with it. I've even had a couple of paying gigs to build applications with Xojo. (Real Studio at the time.) My largest application however is the application that I've developed to run my business. It's a Xojo+PostgreSQL solution that does contact management, client management, project management, invoicing, AR and reporting.

Is Xojo as 'refined' as Foxpro. No. However, for being a product with ambitious goals of being cross platform plus web (soon iOS) in one singular complete package, it's pretty damned good. Of course Foxpro is Windows only, and unsupported (in a practical way) except community support. Xojo is a supported product, actively in development by a small(ish) company where its developers come from the USA, Canada and Europe.

I say take it for a spin (for free) and see if it fits your needs and requirements.

Have any one here built an application(s) with xojo?
Downloaded the free book, looks like it has potential.
But like all projects, you don't know what you have till you try a live project
