MPOV the M$ problem is all about customer experience and expectations. The software that has been around for a long time that runs in WinOS is mouse driven. Suddenly you are expected to use it with a single button mouse when you KNOW that you want to rt click that word and choose Thesaurus from the list. Apple had a heads up on the isses that iPhone apps didn't work as well on iPads and they were able to control what would be allowed and what needed to be tweaked by the software vendor. M$ doesn't have that radical control. As the apps are tweaked for the new environment you will find a need for them instead of them just getting in the way as they did a year ago.
