It would have been nice, but I did not even know that there was a problem with 16-bit on my laptop until I tried using my utilities.

We made the same mistake with one laptop with 64bit windows 7. After many problems using the emulation software we eventually swapped out the laptop with someone who didn't need to run 16 bit software. As 32 bit windows 7 licences were getting harder to find we stockpiled enough to upgrade all the users who still needed to use the 16 bit software. We have done nearly all of the XP machines now so will look at upgrading the 16 bit software (Pegasus Opera) to a later version. There are quite a few issues with bespoke mods so it may take a while.
