It would also be interesting to know the role Karl Rove played in helping the neocons come to power, that the neocons gained enough power to launch an unnecessary preemptive war against Iraq. Whatever Karl Rove's ties to the neoconservatives, he play his role masterfully; demonizing the Democrats as anti-Christian, gay loving, immoral, liberal traitors who would "cut and run" from Iraq and Israel. This allow the fascist neocons to split the country, by demonizing their opponents; while, stroking their military and evangelical base with enough energy to win elections within a Democratic process.
