Well, if all else fails, you can consult the source: https://github.com/dotnet/coreclr/wiki/Linux-Instructions Currently, to install on Linux (tm), the only supported distro is Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and to build the runtime you need to download a mess of stuff. To complete the dependencies, you need to install Mono and NuGet. And to get "Hello, World" to run, you need to compile it on Windows :) Still a ways to go to compete with Python or Ruby or PHP or Perl or, well, just about anything else on Linux or OSX. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://mail.leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/CACW6n4tp71=phw3ato5od0pdvge68nfzu76-0ljap_hawo_...@mail.gmail.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
