Been there - done that! I got my new Alienware a number of years ago. I prepped a presentation for our local 3D SW user group. I show up that night to give the presentation - and I looked for the VGA port - and, of course - it doesn't Exist! WTF! Back then (that laptop is now about 6.5 years old) I figured a VGA port was still standard. My Bad. Instead - all I had was an HDMI port...
